Hello, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? I never planned to take such a long break from blogging but I was struggling to find inspiration and motivation to write. Over the years, so many of the bloggers I followed have moved on, and my life interests have never really fitted neatly into a single category, which has made it difficult to find an online community at times.

Life has continued offline, our oldest daughter is coming to the end of her first year at school, and it’s been full of fun and learning. Our youngest daughter is still making us laugh and keeping us on our toes with her toddler mischief and mayhem everyday. My husband’s been self-employed for over a year, he’s carved out a niche for himself and business has been steady. Meanwhile, I’m about to change jobs for the fourth time in twelve months, which I hope will be my last move for a while. We’ve enjoyed lots of little spring adventures, and we’re looking forward to lots more through the summer too.

As always the garden has kept me busy and grounded, though it’s looking a bit messy and incohesive at the moment. My windowsills are full of sweetcorn and pumpkin seedlings, the greenhouse is full of tomato plants. We have a new water feature in the back garden; a mini pond my husband created out of an old ceramic sink he found on Gumtree. The daffodils have died back and the roses are just starting to bloom promising months of scent and colour.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone who’s still here, and wishing everyone reading a lovely week. X

Thanks, nice to see a few familiar bloggers still here too. The mini pond is a lovely addition, still no frogs but hoping we might get some damselflies. 😊

Glad your still here. It is hard to find things to write about sometimes , but I find blogging is like keeping a little diary. Xx

That’s exactly why I missed it, love looking back at old posts and revisiting moments and memories, would be a shame to give it up. ☺️ X

Thanks for the update, love the garden pictures! I’m the same in that I have different topics, I’m offline quite a lot in my spare time (though I always have posts scheduled in advance so there aren’t long gaps) and the blogging community is not quite what it was.
